MACOMB, Ill. - Due to wet grounds, the second game of the Western Illinois Purple & Gold World Series has been rescheduled for Friday, October 17. First pitch is slated for 3:30 p.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium.

The Purple squad leads the best-of-three series, 1-0, after a come-from-behind 9-6 win over the Gold squad earlier this week. Game Three, if necessary, would be played Sunday, October 19 immediately following the alumni game, which is set for an 11 a.m. start.
