The Athletics Media Services office strives to promote all 20 intercollegiate athletics programs primarily by servicing local, regional and national media outlets. Its goal is to continually improve the overall image of the Athletics Department, and Western Illinois University, on behalf of the student-athletes, coaches, administration, alumni and fans.

Specific services provided include:
• arranging media interviews
• maintaining the department’s Web site
• reporting results to media outlets
• promoting student-athletes for conference, regional and national awards
• archiving the department’s history
